Last Revised: 19-11-2025
Trade Marks Act 1999 (India) Copyright Act 1957 Global Trademark Protection Anti-Impersonation & Anti-Fraud

This Trademarks & Intellectual Property Policy (“Policy”) explains how Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. (“Jungleciti”, “JHIPL”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) protects its trademarks, copyrights, brand assets, and other intellectual property across India and worldwide, and how we respond to impersonation, passing off, and copyright violations.

Important: This Policy is for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. Rights and remedies may vary by jurisdiction.

1. Jungleciti Trademarks

The following are proprietary trademarks, service marks, trade names, and brand identifiers of Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd., whether registered, pending registration, or protected as unregistered marks and common-law rights (collectively, the “Jungleciti Marks”):

  • “Jungleciti”
  • “Jungleciti House Kaziranga”
  • “Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd.” / “JHIPL”
  • Logos, icons, and emblems displayed on this Website and in our apps
  • Distinctive slogans, taglines, domain names and app names owned or controlled by us

The Jungleciti Marks are protected under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India), applicable common-law trademark doctrines, and international treaties and laws in other jurisdictions (including, as applicable, those administered by WIPO and regional/national IP offices).

2. Use of Jungleciti Trademarks

Permitted Use (Limited):

  • You may refer to “Jungleciti” in plain text solely to describe factual information about our services (e.g. a review or itinerary), provided such use is fair, honest, not misleading, and does not suggest sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation where none exists.

Prohibited Use: Without our prior written consent, you must not:

  • Use any Jungleciti Marks as part of your company name, brand name, business name, product name, domain name, subdomain, app name, social media handle, or advertising keyword.
  • Use logos, icons, or stylised wordmarks owned by Jungleciti in any manner (online or offline), including on websites, brochures, signboards, vehicles, uniforms, or merchandise.
  • Create logos, designs, or names that are confusingly similar to Jungleciti Marks or that could mislead guests into believing you are affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially authorised by Jungleciti.
  • Use Jungleciti Marks in connection with any illegal, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or unethical activity.

Any unauthorised use, imitation, or confusingly similar variation of the Jungleciti Marks may constitute trademark infringement and/or passing off under applicable law.

3. Website & App Copyrights (Inherent Protection)

All original content on this Website and our official apps, including but not limited to text, copywriting, room descriptions, wildlife descriptions, graphics, logos, images, photographs, icons, UI layouts, downloadable materials, and other creative works (“Jungleciti Content”), is protected by copyright laws, including the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and equivalent laws worldwide (including the Berne Convention).

Copyright arises automatically when qualifying works are created and fixed in a tangible or digital medium. No additional registration is necessary for Jungleciti Content to be protected. All rights are reserved unless expressly granted in writing.

Prohibited Acts Without Written Permission:

  • Copying, reproducing, or publicly displaying Jungleciti Content (including images, text, or design) on other websites, apps, booking platforms, social media pages, or printed materials.
  • Creating derivative works, adaptations, translations, or compilations of Jungleciti Content.
  • Scraping, data-mining, or bulk downloading our content or images for use in other commercial projects, AI/ML training, or competing services.
  • Removing, obscuring, or modifying copyright notices or watermarks on our images or documents.

Limited fair use or fair dealing exceptions may apply in certain jurisdictions (for example, for news reporting or commentary), but such exceptions are interpreted narrowly and you remain responsible for compliance with applicable laws.

4. Impersonation, Passing Off & Fraudulent Profiles

We treat any form of impersonation or misrepresentation of Jungleciti or JHIPL as a serious violation. This includes:

  • Creating fake hotel or resort listings using our name, brand, or images on OTAs, classified sites, or social media.
  • Setting up unofficial websites, social media pages, or messaging accounts that pretend to be “Jungleciti” or an “official booking desk” without our written authorisation.
  • Sending emails, SMS, WhatsApp or other communications claiming to be Jungleciti in order to solicit payments or personal information.
  • Using our brand assets in a way that confuses guests, suppliers, or authorities as to the origin of services.

Such conduct may amount to one or more of the following, under Indian and international law:

  • Trademark infringement and passing off;
  • Unfair trade practice or consumer fraud;
  • Cheating, criminal impersonation, or cyber offences under applicable statutes.

Jungleciti reserves the right to:

  • Issue legal notices and file civil or criminal proceedings against individuals and entities involved in impersonation or fraud;
  • Report infringing accounts, listings, or pages to hosting providers, OTAs, social networks, domain registrars, and app stores for takedown;
  • Seek injunctions, damages, and costs as permitted by law.

5. Third-Party Trademarks & Partner Logos

Logos and names of third-party organisations (for example, industry associations, certification bodies, OTAs, payment networks, or partner brands) that appear on this Website are the property of their respective owners. Their display:

  • Does not grant you any rights to use those third-party marks; and
  • Does not imply that those third parties endorse, sponsor, or are legally responsible for Jungleciti’s services, unless explicitly stated.

6. Limited Licence to Use the Website

8. No Waiver of Rights

Failure by Jungleciti to enforce any part of this Policy or to take action in a particular case does not constitute a waiver of our rights to do so in future or in other cases. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in this Policy.
