Booking Policy

Applies to direct bookings and third-party/OTA reservations unless otherwise stated in your confirmation.

Occupancy & Extra Person Policy

Important: If a guest has booked for 1 person, any additional person is chargeable as per the hotel’s normal rate (subject to change from time to time) even if the room category booked is for double occupancy, as some of our OTA partners have an occupancy pricing model.

  • Room capacity limits must be respected for safety and compliance.
  • Extra bed/mattress and breakfast plans are chargeable unless your rate plan explicitly includes them.
  • Child/infant policies, if applicable, follow the specific rate plan and may require age proof at check-in.

Rates, Inclusions & Taxes

  • Published/online rates are dynamic and may change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.
  • Inclusions (e.g., breakfast, transfers, activities) apply only if stated in your confirmation voucher.
  • Applicable taxes and service charges are levied as per prevailing statutes and may change from time to time.
  • Multi-occupancy, peak dates, festivals, weekends, and special events may attract premium pricing and/or minimum-stay requirements.

Payments, Guarantees & Confirmation

  • Bookings are considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment/guarantee within the timeline mentioned on your confirmation or rate plan.
  • For OTA (Online Travel Agency) reservations, the booking remains valid subject to timely payment settlement by the OTA and/or the guest as per the OTA’s agreed process.
  • Jungleciti may cancel any booking if payments for the bookings are not settled by the OTA or the customer. Jungleciti is not responsible for such cancellation and may sell the room to the first available customer in order to minimise loss.
  • We may request pre-authorisation on your card or a deposit/advance payment, especially for high-demand dates and group bookings.
  • Invoices are issued as per details shared; any GST or invoice name change must be requested before checkout.

Cancellations, No-shows & Refunds

  • Cancellation/no-show rules vary by rate plan (e.g., Flexible, Semi-flex, Non-refundable) and by channel (Direct vs OTA). Please refer to your voucher/confirmation.
  • Non-refundable bookings, promotional rates, or bookings within a restricted window may carry 100% cancellation charges.
  • Refunds (where applicable) are processed to the original payment method. Processing timelines depend on your bank/OTA/payment gateway and may vary.
  • Partial stays/early checkouts are treated per rate plan and may be chargeable.

Amendments, Check-in/Check-out & Identification

  • Amendments (dates, room type, occupants) are subject to availability and repricing at the current rate for new dates.
  • Check-in/Check-out times and early check-in/late check-out are subject to availability; charges may apply unless stated otherwise.
  • Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all adult guests at check-in. Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and visa as per law.
  • Special requests (beds, views, floors, adjoining rooms) are noted but not guaranteed.

House Rules, Damages & Liability

  • Smoking, pets, and events are governed by the hotel’s Hotel Stay Rules. Violations may attract cleaning or penalty charges.
  • Guests are liable for any damage to hotel property (including keys, linens, electronics, furniture). Charges will be added to the bill.
  • We are not responsible for loss of valuables not deposited in designated safes. Please use in-room or front-desk safe facilities where available.
  • Force Majeure: In case of events beyond reasonable control (floods, closures, strikes, regulatory orders, etc.), services may be modified/cancelled without liability.

Third-Party/OTA Bookings

  • When you book via third-party platforms, their terms and payment flows also apply.
  • Vouchers must accurately reflect occupancy, inclusions, and dates. Any mismatch will be repriced at the hotel’s prevailing rate.
  • As stated above, bookings may be cancelled if the OTA or the guest fails to settle payment; Jungleciti may resell to minimise loss.
